All UM instructors are invited to join our regular workshops and to take advantage of our services, including classroom observations, confidential consultations, and analysis of student evaluations. We also offer a variety of programs specifically for faculty in tenure-track, visiting, and adjunct roles.
Faculty Reading Group
Each year, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning sponsors a Faculty Reading Group. The group meets for lunch three times over the course of the semester to discuss the chosen book. Click here to learn more about the Faculty Reading Group.
New Faculty Learning Community
The New Faculty Learning Community, a collaboration among the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, the Vice-Chancellor for Diversity and Community Engagement, the Office of the Provost, and the College of Liberal Arts, is a group of cross-disciplinary faculty engaging in an active, collaborative, semester or year-long program.
