Eligibility
All assistant, associate, and full professors who are in a tenure-track position are eligible to receive these awards. If a faculty member received any particular award in a previous year, that faculty member is not eligible to apply again for that award.
Nominations
The faculty member must be nominated by a peer and/or a candidate. Nominations should be made to the department chair. Faculty members will be selected by a review committee appointed by the dean.
Selection Criteria
- A letter of interest outlining teaching responsibilities and listing the reasons the faculty member feels qualified for this award
- A copy of the current faculty activity report
- A sample of comments from student evaluations and annual reviews
- A letter of support from the chair of your department
